At All Yoga we offer the Original Hot Yoga, 26 + 2 beginner series. 26+2 is a set sequenced practice consisting of 26 specific postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a heated room. The consistent sequence is designed to systematically strengthen the body, improve flexibility, and support circulation, balance, and mental focus. Each class follows the same order, allowing students to track progress and deepen their practice over time.
The 26+2 sequence brought to the US from Bikram Choudhury, is derived from the larger and more advanced 84 Asana Series, rooted in the Bishnu Ghosh lineage of Calcutta, India. The 84 Asana Series is a traditional, advanced practice that we offer twice per week for students seeking a deeper exploration of the full system. For those ready to progress gradually, we also offer an Intermediate class designed to bridge the 26+2 and the 84, providing thoughtful modifications and guided pathways into more advanced postures. We also offer other traditional lineages of Hatha Yoga as well besides the Bishnu Gosh Lineage.
Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional, lineage-based practice that originated in Mysore, India, and was brought to the West through the teachings of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The practice follows a set, sequential series of postures linked by breath (vinyasa), beginning with the Primary Series, which focuses on building strength, flexibility, stamina, and proper alignment. As students develop consistency and stability, the practice progressively advances to more challenging series.
Ashtanga is a physically and mentally demanding discipline that cultivates focus, resilience, and self-awareness. The structured nature of the practice offers students a clear framework for growth, making it ideal for those seeking depth, dedication, and a committed path within their yoga journey.
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that evolved from the traditional Ashtanga system, linking breath with continuous, fluid movement. Here at All Yoga, we offer Vinyasa classes that range from slow, mindful flows to more upbeat, music-driven practices, allowing students to explore strength, mobility, and creativity. With an emphasis on freedom and rhythm, Vinyasa invites students to move intuitively and discover fluid, expressive movement within their bodies with or without the assistance of yoga props..
Power Yoga or also known as Baptiste Yoga is a dynamic, fitness-focused practice that evolved from traditional Ashtanga Yoga. While it maintains the challenging structure and discipline of Ashtanga, Power Yoga introduces more freedom and variation in sequencing, allowing for creative, flowing transitions between postures. Classes move at a faster pace, emphasizing strength, endurance, and core stability, making it both physically demanding and invigorating. This style blends the rigor of a structured practice with the energy of playful, expressive movement, offering students a transformative experience that develops both body and mind while supporting overall fitness and vitality.
At ALL YOGA we offer Rocket Yoga, the creative series derived from Ashtanga Vinyasa, known for its flexibility, strength-building, and playful, accessible approach that incorporates inversions, arm balances, and creative transitions, earning its name because it "gets you there faster". It offers three structured sequences (Rocket I, II, III) focusing on different body areas (legs, core/back, or a mix) but allows modifications, making it suitable for all levels. Rocket Yoga shines as a modern style uniquely crafted for the Western audience in the vibrant tapestry of yoga styles that have emerged over centuries. Its birth is attributed to the late Larry Schultz. A dedicated student of K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga, and spent several years in Mysore, India, immersing himself in the traditional Ashtanga series. However, upon his return to the West, particularly in San Francisco, he noticed a distinctive need. Western practitioners, while enthusiastic, often found the traditional Ashtanga series rigid and hard to adapt, especially given the differences in lifestyle, body structure, and daily challenges. Recognizing these limitations of classical Ashtanga Yoga, Schultz created the sequences now called rocket yoga.
Bhakti Yoga is the yoga of devotion, love, and heart-centered connection. Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, this practice emphasizes cultivating gratitude, compassion, and surrender through practices such as chanting, mantra, prayer, and mindful rituals. Bhakti Yoga nurtures emotional balance and spiritual growth, allowing students to connect deeply with themselves and the world around them while fostering a sense of joy, presence, and inner harmony.
In BikYasa Yoga Class we bridge the boundaries between two different yoga lineages and embrace the rich mosaic of practices. The Fusion of Astanga(Vinyasa) and 26+2, this hot yoga class is a posture realignment system that connects mental and physical spatial awareness to result in optimization of any movement or posture - yoga, athletics, and especially moving around in day to day life. This practice cultivates stillness, mindfulness, and introspection, promoting flexibility, joint health, and inner calm while complementing more active styles of yoga.
Yoga Nidra & Meditation offers a guided journey into deep relaxation and conscious awareness. Practiced on a mat, this method focuses on core strength, stability, flexibility, and alignment, guiding students to move with intention and awareness. Each exercise is performed with controlled motion, cultivating strength, balance, and overall body integration while honoring the original sequences developed by Joseph Pilates. Classical Mat Pilates offers a structured, mindful approach to physical conditioning, providing lasting benefits for posture, mobility, and functional movement. We also offer contemporary Pilates classes that honor the philosophy of Contrology, but are based more on the block system to target every area of the body with new science based movements and flow.
Heated Tabata combines high-intensity interval training with the benefits of a heated environment to maximize strength, endurance, and calorie burn. Practicing in the heat adds an extra layer of detoxification through sweat, while the integration of Mat Pilates principles in a contemporary way ensures proper alignment, core engagement, and mindful movement. The result is a full-body workout that strengthens, tones, and energizes both body and mind.
At All Yoga we also offer weighted tabata classes , to intensify the workout and place a greater focus on strength training. Strength training enhances core stability, muscular endurance, and overall body control, supporting safer alignment, deeper poses, and improved balance in your yoga practice. All Yoga’s Hot Tabata classes are the perfect complement to your Yoga practice.
ALL YOGA’s Sound baths are a restorative meditative experience in which students are immersed in healing vibrations from ancient and contemporary instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and crystal quartz bowls tuned to specific frequencies. These tones interact with the body’s natural resonance, influencing brainwave states and calming the nervous system, often guiding participants into deep relaxation and parasympathetic healing. From a quantum perspective, sound operates as energy and vibration, allowing the physical and subtle bodies to reorganize into more coherent patterns, much like tuning forks coming into harmony. While spiritually, sound baths support balance across the chakras and encourage a greater sense of presence, connection, and inner spaciousness. Many describe the experience as a gentle “retuning” of body, mind, and spirit, leaving them grounded, clear, and deeply nourished.
At ALL YOGA we offer Reiki Circles. Small, intentional community gathering where participants receive group Reiki healing in a nurturing, meditative environment. Guests are guided through grounding breathwork and quiet relaxation while practitioners offer individualized or shared Reiki treatments. Kriya Yoga is a meditative and spiritual yoga practice focused on inner transformation through disciplined breathwork, concentration, and meditation. The practice centers on directing prana (life force) through the spine using specific breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, purify the mind, and accelerate spiritual growth. Kriya Yoga was brought into modern awareness by Lahiri Mahasaya in the 19th century and later popularized globally through the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. Rather than emphasizing physical postures, Kriya Yoga prioritizes inner stillness, self-realization, and a direct experience of consciousness. It is traditionally taught as a progressive, disciplined path that views yoga as a science of meditation and a means to attain clarity, balance, and deep inner peace.
Raja Yoga is known as the path of meditation and mental mastery, focusing on cultivating inner stillness, clarity, and self-discipline. Rooted in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, it emphasizes the eightfold path (Ashtanga Yoga), which includes ethical principles, breath control, concentration, meditation, and samadhi (deep absorption). Raja Yoga trains the mind to become steady and focused, using meditation as the primary tool for self-realization. Rather than centering on physical postures alone, it views yoga as a systematic practice of awareness that leads to inner balance, insight, and spiritual awakening. Raja Yoga is considered the core or royal path from which many yoga practices originate.
